People struggling with depression may find it difficult to concentrate, and have feelings of guilt and worthlessness.


Anxiety can affect your everyday life and can lead to worried thoughts, feelings of tension and physical changes. My hope for therapy for you is to help you manage your emotions and reclaim a sense of calm and control in their lives.

Grief, Loss, Mourning

Grief is an emotion that can affect our thoughts, feelings and behaviours and the way we react to loss is called grief. Through therapy I provide a space where you can express your emotions and feelings. I also help guide individuals through the process of grief, loss, and mourning to find solace and healing.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Taking your first step to seek counselling requires courage. In the words of Brené Brown, “Our stories are not meant for everyone. Hearing them is a privilege,” and this is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I look forward to the opportunity to come along side you wherever you are at on your journey.

About My Approach

My approach to counselling is a strength based, person-centered and holistic and collaborative. I create a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients to share their story and be heard. Throughout my counselling session I support my clients by helping them to draw from their strengths, and develop self-compassion as they engage in the therapeutic process. I draw from various evidence based treatment approach including: Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Types of Therapy​

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy​ (CBT)

CBT is an evidenced based treatment approach that helps people learn to identify and change negative or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behaviour and emotions.

Why I Use CBT:

CBT has been shown to be effective in treating anxiety disorders, depression, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, and severe mental illnesses.
