About Katherine

How I Can Help

Life can be sometimes overwhelming and stressful making it difficult to cope. As your therapist, I’m here to help you work through some of your issues (i.e., anxiety, grief, loss) that you’re struggling with by developing the skills, insight, and knowledge you need to lead a life you want.

Talking to someone about painful emotions and memories can be difficult. As your counsellor and psychotherapist, I create a trusting, safe and non-judgmental environment to help you heal and grow.

Areas of Expertise

Depression

A common mental disorder that affects many people. It can bring about extreme sadness and despair that lasts more than days. It can also interfere with daily activities and cause physical symptoms such as weight gain or loss, sleep disruptions and lack of energy. People struggling with depression may find it difficult to concentrate, and have feelings of guilt and worthlessness.

Grief, Loss, Mourning

Grief is an emotion that can affect our thoughts, feelings and behaviours and the way we react to loss is called grief. Through therapy I provide a space where you can express your emotions and feelings. I also help guide individuals through the process of grief, loss, and mourning to find solace and healing.

Anxiety

Anxiety can affect your everyday life and can lead to worried thoughts, feelings of tension and physical changes. My hope for therapy for you is to help you manage your emotions and reclaim a sense of calm and control in their lives.

Relationship Issues

Nurturing healthier connections and guiding individuals through relationship challenges for a happier and more fulfilling life.
